EF Ultimate Break Digital Ads

Production Design

EF Ultimate Break, a travel company, regularly runs sales and specials to highlight specific trips they offer and needed support with the volume of work.

Art direction is provided by their in-house creative team for colors, fonts, and sale-specific type lockups. I iterate on these to create layouts that fit all location names, images, and any additional content in a variety of sizes and applications.

For each sale I create dozens of assets for Meta (feed and stories), Performance Max campaigns, and companion banners to run alongside video ads on YouTube.

Meta Story & Carousel Ads

Image Sourcing

A large portion of the work for these projects is sourcing appropriate imagery following brand standards, and adjusting as those brand standards have evolved over time.

META & PERFORMANCE MAX

As the EF Ultimate Break brand has grown, they have shifted away from stock photography to highlight their trip locations, and instead moved toward in-house brand photography to feel more personal. Where brand imagery does not exist (as happens for new trips offerings) I will also pull stock imagery with people that still fits the general brand look.

YOUTUBE COMPANION BANNERS

YouTube banner ads pose their own unique challenge: they are small and low resolution, which means sourcing images that provide a high enough level of contrast with the text to be legible, without a lot of detail to the image, while still being recognizable as a specific location.
